Meet Council Member Robinson

Doria Robinson, is a 3rd generation Richmond resident. She grew up in what is now known as District 3 within a strong church family where her grandfather was the minister. She is community-builder and respected leader, announced her bid for re-election with a focus on continuing the work she has begun to make Richmond safer, more just, more sustainable, and more unified, without losing sight of the city’s history, culture, and long-standing neighborhoods.

As a Council member, she is known for integrity, collaboration, and a fierce commitment to the people of Richmond.

“Richmond is a community with deep roots and powerful legacies,” Robinson said. “In just three years, we have worked across traditional fault lines on the hardest problems our city faces. And we’ve made real progress on the priorities of the people of District 3. But I’m not satisfied; there’s much more to do.”
